REPLENISHMENT PLANNER

 

We are the Snack Foods division of ConAgra Foods, one of the world’s leading brand marketing powerhouses and a major North American supplier of snack foods, producing such popular brands as Orville Redenbacher, ACT II, Jiffy Pop, and more.  Our Marion, OH location has an immediate need for the following position:

 

Position Responsibilities

ü       Position and maintain replenishment of finished goods inventories in such a way to balance customer fill rate, inventory carrying cost, and optimal transportation.

ü       Utilize SAP and related planning systems to support the inventory planning and positioning function.

ü       Keep Inventory Replenishment, Mix Warehouses and Customer Service apprised of potential problems or issues impacting the business.

ü       Work with Line of Business Team to resolve problems (emphasis is on finding the Lowest Total Cost) and conduct supply chain analysis.

ü       Keep abreast of brands deployed.  Maintain knowledge and insights into assigned products.

ü       Understand transportation costs for all modes used in the supply chain for assigned brands and meet service level goals.

ü       Maintain competency in the DP and MP supply chain processes.

ü       Maintain fill rate, transportation costs and inventory turn goals, along with other members of the Line of Business Team.

ü       Ability to work a flexible schedule as business needs arise

 

Position Qualifications

ü       2-3 years experience in business related field – production planning/scheduling, inventory control, or distribution position within a supply chain.

ü       Consumer Product Goods (CPG) or Food Industry experience strongly preferred

ü       Bachelor's Degree in business or related field highly preferred

ü       APICS certification a plus

ü       Experience with SAP, supply chain module, a plus.

 

Schedule: M-F 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
