How do I apply for services?

Now you can apply for Ohio Works First, Food Assistance, and Medicaid online, wherever you can access the internet. 

You can also make changes to your case information.

Just go to www.ODJFSBenefits.ohio.gov and click on either "Am I Eligible", "Apply for Benefits", or "My Case". 

Your information will automatically be forwarded to a county caseworker for review.  The site is quick, easy, and secure. 

If you are eligible, it will make it easier for you to get the help that you need.

What is Job & Family Services?

Job & Family Services was formed July 1, 2000, with the merger of Bureau of Employment Services and Department of Human Services.  Job & Family Services develops and oversees programs and services designed to help Ohioans be healthy and safe, while gaining and maintaining employment and independence.
