News Marion County Job & Family Services Virtual Call Center Goes Live January 5, 2012. Customers of Marion County Job & Family Services who need information about their case or need to complete their applications for benefits will be able to obtain a quicker response by way of a toll free call center which is a partnership between seven counties and the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services. Customers can now apply for Ohio Works First, Food Assistance, and some Medicaid programs online, wherever they can access the internet. Changes to individual case information can also be made online. Just go to www.ODJFSBenefits.ohio.gov and click on either "Am I Eligible", "Apply for Benefits", or "My Case". The information will automatically be forwarded to a county caseworker for review. The site is quick, easy, and secure. Beginning Thursday, January 5th, 2012, individuals who submit an application will then call 1-855-275-3537 (1-855-ASK-DJFS) to be interviewed or to speak to a customer service agent about their case. It is preferred that applications be submitted directly via the website but can also be submitted by fax at (740) 387-2175 or mailed to Marion County JFS, 363 W. Fairground St., Marion, OH 43302-1759.
